Mike Ingersoll, IPMA-CP, B.A. In business since 2001, Mike Ingersoll is principal and owner of a private consulting firm that works with public sector clients to improve their human resources management skills. An employee of the City of Phoenix for 29 years, Mike served in various professional and managerial positions including several years as employee development administrator and assistant personnel director. He has extensive experience in recruitment and selection, training and development, labor relations, safety, classification and compensation, and human resource information services. Mike’s practical and engaging style earns him high praise from participants. Mike has been active in the Arizona Chapter of the International Personnel Management Association (IPMA) for over 20 years and has served in several leadership roles, including chapter president. He is an IPMA Certified Professional and a graduate of the City of Phoenix Management Academy. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
