Michael Horne, Ph.D. Michael Horne is a powerful and engaging trainer and motivational speaker. He inspires from the heart and takes a hands-on approach to his subject matter, tackling sensitive and complex issues in thought-provoking workshops and presentations.
Offering expert training in cultural diversity, sensitivity and awareness, he also addresses issues ranging from conflict resolution and burnout to sexual harassment, team building, organizational change, goal setting, and self esteem. Through long-term relationships with his clients, Mike is able to develop customized assessments, and experiential learning systems that create a safe environment to explore sensitive issues. A highly sought after keynote speaker, he has personally presented hundreds of seminars and training sessions and has consulted with thousands of clients throughout the United States, Australia, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. Mike is Assistant Pastor of Living Water of the Valley Church in Phoenix, Arizona, co-Pastor of Abundant Life Ministries located in Yakima, Washington, and on the board of directors for The National Solid Rock Mentor’s Program, a pioneering Washington-based non-profit organization that outreaches and reaches out to families and youth in crisis. He is also co-founder and director of the Phoenix-based New Arrivals Foundation, an international organization commissioned to ministering to refugee and displaced families worldwide.
Mike has been awarded six college degrees including a Doctorate in Training and Performance Improvement Systems from Capella University, a Masters of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education and in Human Services from Wayland Baptist University. Mike was distinguished as a Lexington 2001 National “Who’s Who” in Training and Organizational Development.
