AGTS Affiliations and Accrediations

CEU's

AGTS, inc. has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA 22102. In obtaining this approval, AGTS has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standards which are widely recognized as standards of good practice internationally. As a result of their Authorized Provider membership status, AGTS is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standards.

Criteria for Completion:

In order to receive a certificate of completion and IACET CEUs for an activity, participants must attend and actively participant in the entire activity.

Many AGTS programs are accredited by the Arizona Council on Judicial Education and Training. Check with your training contact for details.

AZPOST

The Arizona Peace Officer's Standards and Training (AZPOST) has approved three AGTS Academies for equivalency training credit. The Trainer's Academy carries 30 hours, the Supervisor's Academy carries 61.25 hours, and the Manager's Academy carries 43.75 hours. For details, law enforcement personnel should contact their agency's training coordinator.

UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX

AGTS and the University of Phoenix have signed an articulation agreement that recognizes numerous AGTS classes for potential course credit through the University of Phoenix Assessment Center. (click here to see key.)

Proof of Attendance and Transcript Fees: If you have your original certificate from a class, that is your best proof of attendance. If you do not have your original certificate, you may need to request a transcript from AGTS. The AGTS transcript fee is $15 for classes you attended from July 1991 or later. Fees for AGTS transcripts for classes taken earlier than July 1991 will be based on the time involved in locating rosters on microfiche. We'll need the name and date of the class(es) in which you are interested. Please allow 10 days for a transcript for classes from July 1991 forward and 3 to 4 weeks for classes earlier than 1991.
