How do I know if the credit us upper or lower division? To the right of the University of Phoenix logo you will see LD or UD for lower division or upper division. |

How do I know if the credit is elective or general education? To the right of the LD/UD code, two letters will indicate a general education category. CA=Communication Arts, GE=General Education, HU=Humanities, SS=Social Science. If there are no letters following the LD/UD code, the course is an elective. |

How do I know how much potential credit a class carries? On the far right of the University of Phoenix code line you will see either a diamond or a number. The diamond means the course should be combined with another course for credit. If a number appears, that is the amount of credit the course carries. |

Proof of Attendance and Transcript Fees: If you have your original certificate from a class, that is your best proof of attendance. If you do not have your original certificate, you may need to request a transcript from AGTS. The AGTS transcript fee is $15 for classes you attended from July 1991 or later. Fees for AGTS transcripts for classes taken earlier than July 1991 will be based on the time involved in locating rosters on microfiche. We'll need the name and date of the class(es) in which you are interested. Please allow 10 days for a transcript for classes from July 1991 forward and 3 to 4 weeks for classes earlier than 1991. |

that the course has been approved or is being evaluated for potential credit.
